October 28-30, 2016
Imagine a weekend where you don’t have to think about what you normally think about? What would you think about then?
We’re thrilled to announce our inaugural Thoughtless Retreat at Windrift Hall in New York’s Hudson Valley during the most beautiful time of the year, at the height of the famous seasonal fall foliage change, from Oct 28-30: an experience that will take you on an inner journey, freeing you of limiting thoughts, clearing a way to your inner wisdom and strength.
Each day you’ll be able to nourish your mind and body with freshly prepared farm to table food, centering yoga and meditation practice by the pond, powerful group coaching conversations as well as private one on one spot sessions with a personalized focus on creating your very own Thoughtless Space. Optional massages, time to unwind for personal reflection and a mind shifting dinner experience with a bonfire under the stars will round out your evenings.
Windrift Hall is a tastefully restored 1790s Federal Manor house on 14 acres with a private swimming pond. The house is filled with a carefully curated mix of old and new world art and antiques. There are 4 bedrooms with a total of 8 beds, 5 single and 3 queen size beds, some of them shared bedrooms, some of them private.
Every room features a fireplace and overlooks unobstructed views of nature with meadows, woods, a gently flowing creek, the pond, stone walls and manicured gardens. After driving down a long winding country road, you’ll be able to check your past and future at the gate and enter a space where time stands still.
In order to create a meaningful exchange in an intimate environment, space is limited to 10 participants, so you can get the attention you deserve in an experience tailored to your specific needs.

Why thoughtless when everybody else talks about being mindful?
What if being mind-full is actually the problem? Being in thought means you remove yourself from the present, into the past or the future. You’re either thinking about what has happened or worrying about what might happen. To live in the moment means you’re aware of your thinking and letting it flow through you rather than attaching to it. Only then you can find what you’re looking for - peace of mind, clarity, healing and fresh, creative thinking. All of your experiences this weekend will help you to create your own Thoughless Space - through coaching, yoga and meditation, nutrition and the company of like minded souls on the same quest.
What is a “curated experience”?
Susanne and Allegra put a lot of thought into your Thoughtless Retreats, carefully selecting a location to make sure it provides a peaceful and nurturing environment in a beautiful setting and insuring that every detail of your weekend meets with our high standards of quality and service. Our intention is to choreograph your day so that all of your senses can delight in new experiences and collaborating with the most respected creatives in their fields.
Who's this for?
The creative and curious who are craving some time and space to slow down, drop everyday thinking, and uncover some new ideas. Open-minded, kind, dynamic individuals who need a break or are ready to get unstuck.
What are you providing coaching wise?
The most powerful results of a coaching partnership come from you, not from your coach. Allegra's job is to create the space and understanding around how your mind works and to gently bring you back to the place where your own wisdom and insight can be found. She doesn't give you directions about how to live - this is not a “ten steps to happiness” coaching program. Rather, she shares a description of how your mind and your thinking works and shows you the space where YOU can find the best answers to any questions you have about where you’d like to go in your life or your business. Every conversation is held with this in mind. For more on Allegra and her work visit allegrastein.com
What kind of yoga are you teaching?
Susanne is excited to teach the art of living through yoga to all levels and has a real passion to work with those new to it. In her Vinyasa class she strives for a creative and synergistic flow of movement, music and meditation. Supporting curiosity and personal growth, she creates a safe, nurturing environment where students can find stability and space in their body and minds. All classes are guided and adjusted to the individual level of students. Yoga mats and all props are provided.
